Learn about at-home testing

This is a screening questionnaire, not a diagnosis. Only a sleep study can diagnose sleep apnea.

CPAP therapy

CPAP stands for Continuous Positive Airway Pressure. It is the most commonly recommended, and the most effective, treatment for obstructive sleep apnea.

A CPAP machine provides air at a constant prescribed pressure, delivered through a tube and a mask. That constant airflow keeps the airway open so uninterrupted breathing is maintained during sleep, eliminating apnea events and allowing restorative sleep.

The level of pressure required is determined during your sleep study, and your doctor will prescribe either a single fixed pressure (CPAP) or a range of pressures (APAP).
